Growing up in the family jewelry business, Bavna owner and designer Sunny Jain's fascination with gemstones and jewelry began at a very young age. Although he pursued and completed a medical degree, his passion and knowledge for jewelry eventually brought him back to the family business. Born in India and raised in Los Angeles since the age of 5, Sunny always had a keen sense of fashion. His globa
l travels added an international flair to his style and taste. In 2011 Sunny decided to take his style, international knowledge and love of jewelry and created Bavna. The name Bavna is derived from his mother's first name and can be translated from the Sanskrit meaning of "good intentions." With these good intentions and an affinity for gems, Sunny designs the collection using the finest materials and natural stones all of which are inspired by his respect for and love of nature. n four short years, Sunny has sold Bavna into better department stores such as Saks 5th Avenue and Neiman Marcus and has dressed A-list celebrities including Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce, Rihanna, Camila Alves, Eva Mendes, Halle Berry, Christina Hendricks, Kim Kardashian and Anne Hathaway.
