A couple weeks ago I listed this great 1967 Tudor Submariner 7928 for sale. It came to me from the second owner who is a collector that told me that it had military provenance that he was unable to locate. I listed it without mention because without documentation it wouldn’t carry much weight. To my delight I received the provenance yesterday😃. The watch was owned by a Shipfitter 1st Class in the US Navy who wore it while doing underwater welding. The watch now comes with its original bill of sale from the American Rolex Watch Corporation dated 12/22/1966 showing delivery to the USS DeLong at Fort Schuyler in the Bronx, New York. There is also a photo of the sailor in his diving rig. DM with questions.
