I actually made this necklace for myself and I just never wear it. The book chain is new but the cameo and beads are over 100 years old. I actually think the beads might be 1800s Victorian. They are handmade and quite large. I just don't see beads like this hardly at all.

New Houze factory slag glass rings 💚💚💚💚 The abandoned Houze factory sits quietly in rural Pennsylvania, next to its dump site of hundreds of thousands of pounds of glass cullets. Cullets are layers of glass broken off the melting pots and tossed aside. I get these custard slag pieces from a guy who digs them up, and then I cut cabs from them and set them into sterling silver jewelry. I have gotten lots of feedback from men wishing rings for them were cooler like the filigree rings for women, so I made one! This ring is made with a cabochon cut from a slag glass cullet dug up from the abandoned Houze factory in Pennsylvania. The ring itself is quite large with lots of sterling. It is a size 11. Men deserve fancy too! My smooth signet-style men's rings are very popular sellers, and yet I have gotten a surprising amount of feedback wanting men's rings with more visual interest. It was fun working on a filigree design that is a little more masculine. Now in my shop, link in bio 💚

I love when a customer asks for a new design idea! 😍 They wanted an asscher cut ring, and I told them I could do a simple solitaire, OR I could do one with cadmium glass accents. They loved the idea and loved the result. I didn't have a uranium and cadmium combo ring design in my shop, so I'm pleased to add this.

If anyone has any particular ring ideas, always feel free to ask!
