BEADER'S SPARKLE
A box of glass, a rainbow's gentle hoard,

Where tiny worlds in ordered piles are stored.

Seed beads and crystals, bicones sharp and bright,

A promise held within their clustered light.

The needle threads, a silver, slender guide,

With nylon whispers where the colors ride.

The tension set, a patient, steady hand,

Begins the journey, shaping grain on strand.

Pe**te, Delicas that interlock and cling,

A textured fabric that the fingers bring.

Or brick stitch rising, strong and firm and tall,

Responding swiftly to the Maker's call.

A dance of rows, a pattern takes its hold,

Repeating rhythm, centuries-old.

Each passage through, a gentle, clicking sound,

As unit joins and beauty is unbound.

No canvas stretches, no ceramic clay,

But light refracted, chasing gloom away.

From loose disarray, a structure starts to form,

A bead mosaic weathering every storm.

A floral cuff, a geometric square,

A little piece of stillness born of care.

The weaver's focus, quiet, deep, and true,

Translating visions into beaded hue.

The finished work, a treasure to behold,

More precious than silver or than gold.

A shimmer caught, a history entwined,

The patience, art, and passion of the beader's mind.
