Sapphire Center located in South Lincoln City is the perfect place to find gifts for your loved ones, as well as special treasures for you. Owner Claire Hagen says the goal of Sapphire Center, is simply to “make people happy.”

Entering the store, nestled on Highway 101 in the historic Taft District, you’re greeted with rainbows that spread across the walls, emanating from prisms hanging in the wi

ndows. You’ll find cabinets filled with gorgeous jewelry, shelves of books and cards —and a huge collection of rocks and gemstones. Browse at your leisure in the respectful no-pressure setting. Sapphire Center opened in 2012—although Claire had worked with rocks and gemstones for many decades. Claire has always been connected to stones, and she appreciates the local fascination with rock hounding. “When people visit the beach they pick up rocks and seashells. My own love of collecting drove me to create Sapphire Center. I felt guided to have my own place.”
