As a Gulf Coast local I wanted to create jewelry for my feet that make it appear I have shoes on, but also be able to slip my heels on and be the highlight of the party while having my heels on or off. Living in a very hot and humid climate shoes are not always the best option. As a true southern girl I hate shoes and after a little research Barefoot Sandals seem to be the perfect answer. The only
problem was the price, they seem to be over priced and/or very cheaply made. Also almost all of the ones I found were not made in the U.S.A. My goal was to make a high quality product but also be able to keep the price as reasonable as possible so that anyone could afford to buy them and enjoy for them years to come!! I had a lot of local shop owners approach me in the beginning while I was set up at local craft shows and festivals wanting to carry my "barefoot sandals", I turned them down one right after another as I had yet gotten the product to the quality and standard I was completely satisfied with to actually be in a store as opposed to a craft at a festival. After a lot of determination and a lot of trial and error I finally got my Sandals to a store quality product. I am happy to say that now there are several local Gift shops carrying them as well as a Bridal shop in Destin Fl., Opening this Saturday (Nov. 15, 2014) in the Orange Blossom Square in Foley AL. is "Salty Moon Boutique", a jewelry store that will only carry jewelry that is hand made by local artist, I am excited to say I was the second Artist the Owner, Jennifer choose out of possibly 100's artist to have my sandals on display and for sale. In line are two nail Salons that are very patiently waiting for their displays and a third that has shown a great bit of interest! The past year has been a crazy busy year and a lot of sacrifices have been made and I am very happy to say because of the support of my family, friends, current costumers (especially, repeat customers like Mrs. Gayle Smith), as well as future customers the only way this will go is UP!! I am also working on a new product that once I have it perfected will be revealed to my FB followers first, I am so excited about this product and it will just add a little security to Bare Your Soles existence and growth!!! My husband, Girls, and Myself want to say Thank You to everyone that has supported me over this last year and helping me succeed with this Business rather it was words of encouragement or the purchase of Bare Your Sole barefoot sandals….Thank You to each and every one of you!!!!
