Pulsar Time Computer P1 – 1972
The first of its kind. This solid 18K gold digital watch marked a turning point in horological history. Its LED display was revolutionary. Its price, unmatched. Its impact, unforgettable.

Only a few were ever made. Even fewer survived. This legendary Pulsar P1 represents the very beginning of the digital revolution, and we were fortunate enough to bring it back to life. A rare piece of innovation. A privilege to work on.

This Patek Philippe Nautilus came in looking tired.
Now it’s ready to turn heads again.

It’s not about making it look new. It’s about restoring the beauty that was always there.

This is Fixing Time Together, a new series where I get to share something I love with someone I love. Every time my nephew visits the shop, he gets more curious about the watches I work on. This week we looked at a 1970s Litronix display under the microscope and talked through how the segments light up. These moments remind me that time isn’t just something we fix. It’s something we share. Come along for more stories like this, from the bench, from the heart.

What you’re seeing here is a piece of 1970s innovation—an RCA microchip that powered a vintage Pulsar LED watch. These early semiconductors were a marvel of miniaturization, making digital timekeeping possible in an era before modern microchips.

The intricate gold wire bonds you see connected the chip to the module, allowing it to control the logic that powered the watch’s iconic LED display. At a time when technology was just beginning to shrink, the fact that this level of complexity could fit into a wristwatch was truly groundbreaking.

This stunning Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Aqua Lung “No Radiation” originally belonged to Dave’s father, who passed it down to him. Not only is it an icon in dive watch history—having been favored by navies around the world—it’s also a treasured family heirloom. It’s an honor to work on such a meaningful timepiece, ensuring its legacy continues.

The Fifty Fathoms was designed by Jean-Jacques Fiechter, who worked with French military divers to create the perfect tool for underwater missions. With a non-radioactive luminescent dial and a distinctive black Bakelite bezel, this watch combines functionality with timeless design.
