We focus on achieving this goal through acts of Kindness, fostering community connections, and promoting literacy. A special place dedicated to Alyssa Noelle Audette. We wanted a place to share stories, memories, literacy, and kindness with those all around the country and the world. Alyssa left us in November 2011, leaving a hole in the hearts of all who loved her. We want to continue sharing her

stories, her light, and her passion, which included animals, the beach, and tripping over her own two feet. We invite you to join us in spreading joy and kindness by painting shells or rocks with bright, cheerful colors. Add a fun quote, a ladybug, or even a penguin—Alyssa’s favorite!—and leave these little treasures for others to discover. If you’re local, be sure to stop by our own Free Little Library: the Little Ladybug Library, a special addition to our kindness rock garden created in Alyssa’s honor in July 2020. Find a Free Little Library near you at https://littlefreelibrary.org, and share in the magic—take a book, leave a book, and pass along a little kindness through reading, one of Alyssa’s favorite pastimes. We love hearing about all the adventures your creations go on! Be sure to hashtag them with ---it directs people here, helps them discover Alyssa's story, and keeps her spirit shining bright. September 10th is World Su***de Prevention Day, an opportunity to raise awareness about su***de and ways to support those struggling, honor survivors and remember those who have died. Su***de occurs at all ages, regardless of economic, social, ability, racial, gender, and ethnic boundaries.

The world is heavy sometimes, and none of us are meant to carry it all alone. If you need help, please reach out—and if you notice someone struggling, reach out to them. Sometimes a simple reminder that someone cares can make all the difference.

Much Love and Gratitude to our Kindness Warrior and A-Team-er husband, Patrick, for taking on the challenge of helping keep the Little Free Libraries throughout the city stocked! 📚💚

Helping keep other LFLs full—especially those in high-traffic areas, some that aren’t always stewarded—is a wonderful way to expand our reach and support literacy further out into our community.

We are so grateful to our generous patrons for giving us so much to share, and incredibly grateful for Patrick’s help in getting those books where they are needed ! 💚📚

I had a teacher from the North Kansas City School District reach out after moving from first to second grade, hoping we could help supply her classroom with some nonfiction and chapter books. I left her box on the step for pickup today, and not only did she bring books to trade back, but she also had each of her students write me a thank-you note! 🥹💚

There is something so powerful about a handwritten thank-you note, and I love that she is teaching her students the importance of gratitude and taking the time to express it at such a young age. What a wonderful lesson for these kids to carry with them!!

Good Morning from the Haedong Yonggung Temple in South Korea!! It is deemed “The Most Beautiful Temple” in Asia 💚 Thank you to our new friend and Kindness Warrior Amy, who we met at the Lee's Summit Sunrise Rotary , for bringing us there! South Korea is the 37th country an Alyssa’s Wishes Lovely has made its way to and we are incredibly grateful to be there!!

With love and gratitude to our worldwide team of Kindness Warriors—and a special shout-out to our webmaster Kirby Houck—I’m so excited to share our newly updated website, now representing all 37 countries where Alyssa’s story and spirit have traveled, including four new countries just this summer! 🌎💚

Alyssa always wanted to travel the world, and somehow, through all of you, she gets to do just that. Her story, her spirit, and her legacy continue to travel farther than we ever could have imagined. 💚

We are so grateful to everyone who continues to contribute, share, paint, travel, and spread kindness as we work together to carry Alyssa’s story and spirit around the globe. Every one of you is part of this journey, and we appreciate you more than we can say.
