I am sitting here with tears in my eyes reading your message.

Thank you is simply not enough.

When I shared the news with Journee that her trip was covered and that she would have everything she needed, her face lit up in a way I will never forget. As a leader, those are the moments that stay with you forever.

What touched me most is that you didn’t just donate items. You thought about every detail. A beach bag for the beach. A separate bag for her belongings. A towel for the beach and another for the Airbnb . Those may seem like small things to some people, but to me they speak volumes.

They tell me that you weren’t just giving to a cause,you were caring for a child.

You were thinking about her comfort, her experience, and making sure she felt prepared, included, and special.

We also want to thank you for making sure our entire Lady Jewels of Purpose Inc. family will have Girls Trip shirts. Every time our girls put those shirts on in Florida, they will be reminded that someone cared enough to invest in them. What may seem like a shirt is really a symbol of unity, sisterhood, belonging, and love.

Because of your generosity, our girls won’t just travel togethe they will walk together as one family.

Journee has experienced loss at such a young age, and there are moments when children carry burdens that adults don’t always see. Because of your kindness, she gets to put those worries aside and simply be a little girl excited about going to Florida with her sisters.

You helped create more than a trip.

You helped create joy.

You helped create confidence.

You helped create memories.

You helped create a sense of belonging.

As I watched Journee smile and read the letter she wrote about how much Lady Jewels means to her, I was reminded that God uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things. This week, He used you.

Thank you for seeing one of our Jewels.

Thank you for loving our girls through action.

Thank you for helping us remind them that they are valuable, supported, and never forgotten

Today was more than ice cream.

Today was a reminder that small acts of kindness can change a young girl’s life.

When we told our Jewel that her trip was fully sponsored Felicia Rogers and that she would receive outfits for her journey,,a packed beach bag Sonia Betanzos Senkotears filled her eyes. In that moment, we were reminded why Lady Jewels exists.

Many people see the smiles, the trips, the events, and the pictures.

What they don’t always see are the battles our girls face behind the scenes. The insecurities. The disappointments. The financial struggles. The moments when they wonder if anyone sees them.

Because of your generosity, one young lady is now counting down the days until Florida. Instead of worrying about what she doesn’t have, she’s dancing in the mirror singing:

“I’m going to Florida!” 🏖️🎉

That joy was made possible because people like you chose to give.

Broken Crayons Still Color

People often ask what makes Lady Jewels of Purpose different.

It isn’t that we have all the answers.

It isn’t that we’ve never been broken.

It’s that we keep showing up anyway.

A collection of women who know what it feels like to hurt, yet choose to heal others.

Women who know what it feels like to need encouragement, yet still encourage.

Women who know what it feels like to cry, yet still show up smiling for the next generation.

Because somewhere along the way, we learned a powerful truth:

Broken crayons still color.

Broken hearts still love.

Broken women still serve.

And through God’s grace, broken people can still change lives.

That’s not weakness.

That’s oil.
