"Mack" Johnson was my great grandfather, a small business owner in small town Alabama. "Emmalou" was just one

of the many legal names of the right hand man of my other great grandfather, Andrew Lafayette. Both Emmalou and Andrew were hard workers and central characters of many family tales. The name Mack and Emmalou is really just a nod to my paternal grandparents.
