Origins Handmade Origins jewelry is handmade by me here in the midwest. I started piercing over a decade ago and soon after started making jewelry.

What began as playing around making wood and bamboo plugs for friends has been expanded and refined into fine jewelry of all sorts incorporating many different design elements, materials, and skillsets. All of my materials are sourced with an emphasis on both quality raw materials and ethical production methods. All of Origins jewelry is handmade so don't hesitate to request something custom. All

First day at expo was a blast yesterday. Can’t wait for today. This guy is still available at my booth!

Chrysoprase, grey rose cut diamond, and chocolate diamonds all in 14k white gold.

The side chrysoprase cabochons are 14g threaded so the posts go through the back plate for a stunner faux industrial with two flat piercings.

When you’ve got industrial dreams but weren’t blessed with that back ear rim.

There are so many approaches to making an industrial work an ear like this. We discussed a whole bunch of options, but since the goal was as traditional of an industrial as possible this was the best fit.

Also, since this client isn’t a local, this will be an easy piece to downsize by any other piercer with access to internally threaded jewelry, rather than needing a second custom piece of jewelry to make things fit right when the initial swelling goes down.

This is one of the reasons I want to teach as many piercers as possible to make/modify their own jewelry components. Maybe not everyone has the drive or the time to want to be a jeweler necessarily, but the ability to modify pieces and make custom components for our clients is a game changer in being able to accommodate unique anatomy.
