I’m proud to present: “Glimmers of Renewal”✨ Debuting at the UPcycle: Thrift Meets Fine Art Exhibit.
Join me alongside many talented Las Vegas artists on Saturday, November 8 from 2-6pm at the Slonina ART Space as we debut the art we created from thrifted pieces.
This glass vase caught my eye right away. I loved the combination of colors, the hints of gold, and the way the light shines through the cracks and creates the most magical glimmers of sunlight.
I wanted my art to honor the original piece by creating around the concept of renewal. I loved the idea of building on the cracks rather hiding them. Creating complementary art that can bring out the beauty beneath the surface.
I had to pay homage to my artistic roots and include a wearable art element. There is a pair of earrings that is part of the art that you can take off and wear to match!
