Inspired by the sea…. Living on an island, it’s not hard to be inspired. I feel so lucky to be here - to be so close to the water. We don’t have a view from our house, but it’s just a short walk away. I’m originally from New Hampshire, but the PNW has become my home. I love it here and can’t imagine living anywhere else.

Silver hoops with brass coral dangles and 14k gold filled ear wires ~

Did you know that coral reefs cover less than 1% of the ocean floor, but they are home to more than 25% of all known marine species, making them one of the most biodiverse ecosystems in the ocean? Pretty amazing.

The only time I’ve seen living coral was in Florida when my kids were young. We took them snorkeling 🤿. It was an amazing experience. There were so many fish and little critters swimming in and around the reef, using it to find food and for protection. It was like watching a miniature city.

Crows are one of my favorite birds. I took a bit of artistic license here and made this one blue. It’s set with a textured sterling silver bezel and a textured copper backplate. It hangs from an oxidized sterling silver chain with a lobster clasp.
