Hello Watchmakers and friends, Thanks so much for coming out Friday! It was great to see everyone.
***CHANGE OF EVENTS...So I wanted to let everyone know that I've had to postpone the final Watch Week event to be held at the watch and clock museum until a further date.
I apologize as I was very excited for this event, but there were some logistical and financial concerns. Thanks for your understanding. Perhaps we can still meet up somewhere else if people are still interested? Let me know.
Don't forget about making your own clock at the pottery works tomorrow(it's really fun!) open mic night Thursday at the Seed, and happy hour Friday at the Fed Taphouse. Thanks!

Hello to fellow watchmakers and friends I am posting an official event call:

"Call For Handmade Watches for Gallery Opening in Lancaster PA (Complete or Partial)"

I am trying to get some watch events going in Lancaster and the surrounding area to give individuals a little idea of what is involved in the watchmaking career.

I am looking for LWT students(past and present) and other wathmakers who would be interested in being involved in this week of events.

I am going to have a gallery of "Handmade American Watches" to kick off the event Sept 6th 2013. I am hoping to have several school watches, including my handmade chronograph, along with any clocks, or art inspired artwork.
I hope to have some lectures by students(maybe a tourbillon model), perhaps a few demonstrations of watch work/ projects etc. A book reading at the library and many other events! Let me know if you have an idea!

Hey all! Lawrence Watts is going to be participating in Inliquid's upcoming event, Art For The Cash Poor 14, in Philadelphia! We will be there Saturday, June 8th, and Sunday, June 9th from 12-6pm and we will have tons of brand new handmade jewelry and accessories for the show! There will also be live music, local food vendors, and lots of talented artists/artisans selling their work. We hope to see you there!
