The start of a new year is often about personal resolutions, but Sunday reminds us of our shared purpose. ✨
As we settle into the first Sunday of 2026, we’re reflecting on a simple but powerful directive: "Spur one another on toward love and good deeds."
At Fostering the Family, we believe that "spurring one another on" isn't about pressure—it's about partnership. It’s about being the kind of village that notices when someone is weary and offers a hand to help them keep going.
This year, we’re putting this into practice in two simple ways:
👣 Intentional Movement: Through our SC Steps Up challenge, we are literally spurring one another on to walk, pray, and advocate for children in foster care.
🤝 Tangible Love: Whether it’s a meal for a neighbor or a bed for a child, we are choosing to turn our "good intentions" into "good deeds."
Whatever your goals are for 2026, we hope you find yourself in a circle of people who encourage you, cheer for you, and remind you that you don't have to run this race alone.
Wishing you a restorative Sunday. Let’s make this a year of moving forward, together. ❤️
