How French chic is this? And warm too! Unbeknownst to me, the French used (came up with) a special fiber that generates negative ions - much like sea air, etc. Well this tube scarf is a blend of that fabric and wool. I had no clue until researching it. I've worn this scarf and can attest to the warmth it provides. Plus, it looks so cool! Let alone the negative ion deal!

As always, the French military is so chic and clever! This vintage army green infinity tube scarf from the 70s is a perfect example. They combined trusty, warm wool with Chlorofibres for an ideal blend. Who knew you could look so cool and enjoy all these benefits! According to Textile

I know, I always brag about my customers being the best. They are! I so love them! Ms. Madelyn has gone above and beyond in making a simple painted bag "her own." She had a vision from the beginning, I was just one small part of her vision. She knew what she wanted. She says it is still a work in progress. I'll happily take her photos as it progresses. This is a 65 year old bag!!! She made it relevant in today's world. I am extremely happy, proud, humbled and thrilled. Thanks Madelyn, absolutely my pleasure working with you!

My fabulous customers!!!! Another Shhhh. Evidently leather is for anniversary three Who knew? Surely not me. Clever woman found a unique symbol to represent three.The leather on these key chains were part of a Swiss bag, dated late 60's early 70's. Yes, they have some battle scars, as naturally they would. She specifically wanted a scarred "well served" one. This sucker is old! Always, I love to be a part of these special moments.

I have the most interesting customers! This one is a shhhh as it's a wedding gift. Guy meets girl while serving in the military overseas. They bonded over the artist Banksy. Now they are getting married and he wanted a very special gift for her. The bag is from the country they met in, this is Banksy's art (ok to reproduce as Banksy is cool like that) and there's an extremely special message painted inside the bag from him to her. The guy is taking it to a seamstress to have pockets added and have the flap lengthened (I sent extra bag fabric) so it will hold her laptop. This is entirely too cool and fun!

And yet another interesting day in the world of bags, and I do mean world!! A man from Marseilles, France ordered a bag with a word he wanted written in Japanese Kanji. Appears it's not really a word in French or English, so I'm assuming slang of sorts. So, call on dear friend in Australia whose daughter is going to school in Japan to quiz if possibly she can help translate this "non-word." Sheesh, a long way to go, and as many places across the globe to help this guy out. My attempts at translating may end up as cabbage butt or who knows what! Never a dull day, and we'll await to see if it can be done!

My greatest fortune to come across these beauties!! Vintage Swiss Red Cross Army blankets have been literally gone from the earth for as long as I have searched! These were discovered in a cave depot in the Alps. Yes, absolutely authentic! They are the real deal with the makers initials and year felted in! I do have some knock-offs, but they are nothing like the originals, not even close! As always with something so rare, I have a limited supply.

What a cool human! Pastor Mark does it again! We've had so many great conversations, he is so awesome! And willingly shares his opinion. No big church, just a man doing God's work. As it should be. He needed a larger bag for sermon notebook. Always, I have a bag to fit. This one is 1942, British.
