Benjamin reached out to us because he had purchased a gorgeous Australian green sapphire from a gem dealer, but he wasn’t sure if it was legit or not. We decided to track down the dealer, get references on him and found out that the stone was in fact real, and Benjamin was stoked.

So we sat down to create a unique ring for his wife. She used to have a wave ring, but unfortunately she lost it after some time, so he wanted to somehow recreate that. At first the idea was to just have a single wave on the bottom side of the ring, then it was to have the waves go halfway around, but when his wife saw the rendering with waves all the way around, she was blown away. That was the one.

Set in 18k yellow gold, this is one of the most fiery and unique rings we’ve ever made. It has classic Kauai vibes with a modern timeless look. The center is a 4.6ct dual tone Green Sapphire and we left the setting really open to allow lots of light to come through. It’s like nothing we’ve ever seen before and we are thrilled with how it came out, and so is Benjamin’s wife so if you see this ring around, give a shout out.

Some love stories deserve to be worn close to the heart.

This custom pendant was created for Bill and Neva to honor their 60-year journey together. Its horseshoe shape symbolizes their bond and also recalls Neva’s days growing up in Kauai with her pony, Joe (whose name is secretly engraved on the back). The six diamonds represent 6 decades of shared life and love and the plumeria flowers are a soft, personal touch and Neva’s favorite bloom.
