Will you help us bring a bit of beauty and lightness to our world this Spring? We have several projects in the works: like our plan to hang dozens (or more) of paper or felt birds from the ceiling in memory of Tim Bates and in hope of the future.

We could use your help to make these projects happen. If you'd like to help flocks of birds and other things appear in Duluth Folk School, please consider donating: $10, $50, or even $250. Anything you give will help fund art and wonder in our building.

One year ago I purchased silver (for making jewelry) at $22/ounce. It was a wee bit high, but I thought I better stock up, and was uncertain about what the economic future was looking like. Today silver is at nearly $75/ounce. I’m not sure I can create affordable jewelry anymore, and I’m sad.
