Gail opened her own design studio in 1982 right here on the Outer Banks. She has won tons of awards for her work and several celebrities have worn her jewelry. Each piece that she makes is one of a kind and takes hours and hours to create. Soundside Recycling & Materials, Inc. is a locally owned recycling company on the Outer Banks for asphalt, concrete, yard debris and other waste. They’re an all women owned company serving Currituck and Dare counties for over 20 years. The goal of Soundside Recycling & Materials is to turn waste that would end up in the landfill, into usable material for all sorts of products. They sell recycled mulch, topsoil, compost, crushed concrete and asphalt millings. For any recycling needs they are the company for it!
