This was a fun project! The customer has had these earrings for a long time and was ready for a change, she wanted to spruce them up by incorporating more diamonds and dangle pearls. She asked me to come up with some ideas and share them with her. They turned out so beautiful, we were both over the moon pleased. They can be worn casually with a sundress or formally for an evening on the town, so versatile. The pictures below are in this order:

This antique beauty dates back to the mid to late 1800s. They are crafted of sterling, 14k yellow gold, cabachoun rose quartz, single cut and hand cleaved diamonds. They are stunning. Unfortunately it's wonderful owner lost one to the pair. The happy ending to this sad story is we were able to duplicate the earring so closely that it is difficult to tell which one is the original. Next time I see it's owner, I will take a picture of the two side by side to share the incredible work we were able to do so she can continue to enjoys these treasures.
