Sigh. Purchased pattern was clearly created by someone who works brilliantly in EVA foam, but has less experience with fabric. Even with adding more than 1/4 inch to the original pattern as seam allowance, it doesn’t quite fit together. Deciding whether to scrap the inner foam skeleton and see if there is poly fill left at the dying fabric store to give the “horns” of the jester hat some structure. Or whether to take the halves off the foam, see them together with seam binding, and see if that fits over the skeleton.
