Today I realized that I didn’t post anything about my absence. Or at least I don’t see it here. Last year I had a massive spinal fusion surgery with Laminectomy. Recovery has been grueling and I’m still in pain constantly so it’s difficult to do anything. Now there’s another health issue that raised up. Apparently my spine surgery is taking forever and probably what they call unsuccessful because it created more pain issues than resolving them.
I’ve been doing some canvas painting. Even though I experience pain doing that, it does bring me joy back into my life. I plan on moving somewhere this year and hope recovery will happen to make that ordeal less painful.

Life took a sharp left turn and I haven’t been the same physically. For those who didn’t know, I underwent a huge surgery on 2/3 of my spine in late January 2024. From T10-12 and L1-5 to my sacrum. Several months of home health care and physical therapy. Only to have my pelvis fractured during physical therapy!!! So I’m trying to recover from that presently. A long healing process from that too. So…please don’t give up on me just yet because I hope to be creating again in the near future. I’ve done a small amount of beading and painting. but I’m not able to sit for very long at this point.
My home is for sale which is another inconvenience when I think of moving again. But I believe that a maintenance-free villa may just be the best option for me now. We’ll see.
