Yesterday we said goodbye to our absolute best friend, Slugger.
Many of you knew him as the little dog making his rounds through Brookside, stopping by the store, collecting treats from his favorite neighborhood shops , , , , , or patios hopping with us at
A few months ago, we added a treat jar outside Brookside Jewelry labeled “Slugger’s Treats” for all the neighborhood pups, and we hope to continue honoring his memory that way. Please stop by and grab a treat for your pup in Slugger’s honor 🤍
Slugger fought cancer hard for 7 incredible months when we thought we may only have 1, and in that time taught us to cherish every second and never take the ordinary moments for granted.
He was such a special part of our family, our daily routine, and this little community. We are so grateful for the incredible outpouring of love, kind messages, and memories so many of you have shared.
