Another one of our personal favorites, pre-owned Louis Vuitton Medallion Earrings. These feature three superimposed monogram flowers set with crystals, missing one petal for an artistic touch.

The iconic design we know and love actually started as a solution to a problem we still have today - fake products! Louis Vuitton start the company in 1854, and by 1896 copies, fakes, or duplicate products started hitting the market.

George Vuitton, Louis's son, was the owner at the time. He decided to make a signature pattern to make the fake products easier to spot and harder to produce. He took inspiration from Art Nouveau, Japan, and Gothic art styles to come up with the floral motifs we know today. He created the LV monogram in honor of his father Louis Vuitton.

Who knew something so simple has such a rich history!
