🚨 A QUESTION EVERY GUN OWNER SHOULD ASK 🚨
Something happened in our shop today that got us thinking.
A customer came in to sell a pistol.
While waiting in line, another customer noticed the firearm and offered to buy it directly from the seller.
Now maybe these two men knew each other well.
Maybe they didn't.
We honestly don't know.
So here's the question:
âť“ Did the seller know the buyer's background?
âť“ Did he know his history?
âť“ Did he know whether he was a responsible gun owner?
âť“ Did he know enough about him to confidently put a firearm into his hands?
We don't know.
And that's exactly the point.
Responsible firearm ownership means thinking beyond the sale and considering who you're placing that firearm into the hands of.
A firearm isn't a vacuum cleaner.
A firearm isn't a used guitar.
A firearm deserves responsible ownership and responsible transfers.
Before handing a firearm to someone, ask yourself:
👉 How well do I really know this person?
👉 Am I comfortable trusting my judgment after a two-minute conversation?
👉 Do I know enough about this individual to confidently transfer a firearm to him?
Because once that firearm leaves your possession, you don't get to make that decision again.
But what happened today wasn't just about a questionable firearm transaction.
It was also about respect.
Respect for responsible firearm ownership.
And respect for the small businesses that invest their time, money, and lives serving their communities.
What bothered us wasn't losing a deal. It was watching a private transaction take place inside a business that generations of people worked to build.
Small businesses don't exist by accident. They are built over generations by people who show up six days a week, year after year, always putting the business ahead of vacations, weekends, and personal time.
Using that business as a free venue for your own transaction while deliberately cutting it out of the deal isn't being clever.
It's wrong.
