But my love for creating beautiful and unique jewelry started when I was gifted a bead kit for Christmas at 16 by mom Cheri.My mom saw my talent before I did. That's when I new that art wasn't just painting and drawing. Beading became a new hobby that I
grew to enjoy, and people would complement my work and would request it as gifts. I took a few years off from beading to focus on school, but after I became a mother I would share my love of beading with my daughter Emma, as she got older and started school, I had extra free time so I decided to take up my hobby of beading again. I would wear my artwork on outings and people who notice my handmade jewelry and would complement it, they would ask me where I got it and I would tell them that I made it. They would ask me if I sold my art and I never had a answer, until one day my husband Toby gave me the idea to sell my work. So in 2008 I started to buy small bead kits and went to work. At first I sold here and there. In 2012, I decided to form a small business. I've been selling my beautiful and one of a kind jewelry since. I love what I do and I like sharing my lovely work with the world. I enjoy turning beads I find or buy into something beautiful, hence the name (Beads To Beauty) that name idea goes to my husband.
