This fabulous 100 year old house was once home to the Butler's and Chauffeur's who served the millionaires during the Jekyll Island Club Era. Since the early 1990's it has been established as a retail shop offering an eclectic array of treasures for tourists and locals to enjoy. Jewelry, fashion, local art, music, mermaids, shells and turtles galore fascinate the visitors who meander about this wonderful shop.

COUNTDOWN TO THE END OF AN ERA.
As many of you know all the shops on Pier Road are closing due to the nonrenewal of our leases with the Jekyll Island Authority. The last day of business for The Island House will be Labor Day, September 2nd. All merchandise is now 50% off. EVERYTHING MUST GO! All fixtures, displays, and equipment are for sale.
