When I first thought of starting my jewelry store I pictured:
- cozy days crafting
- road trips to artist markets
- growing a social media following

I did not picture:
- stacks of legal and tax paperwork
- phone calls with IT for my POS
- hours looking at a computer screen split in 4 with 9 tabs open learning how to set up the backend of a website

But while I didn’t picture these things, I still love them. I love watching the foundation of my business grow strong, and knowing I’m setting Stepping Stone up for a stable future.

Right now the crafting days are more stressful than cozy, the road trips have only been to get documents and supplies, and the social media presence practically nonexistent…but that’s all about to change.

See you tomorrow at book/shop,etc. for the start of Stepping Stone’s next chapter.
