2025 was the year of uncertainties. I found myself living in fear of what would become of us as a nation, for my children, family and friends. For our future investments, fine metal prices and tariffs and how would it affect my business. Fear for the immigrants, women’s rights & the basic rights that allow us to live in a civil society. Would we loose our humanity to hate?
Despite it all, I’m fortunate to have the love & support of my rock and my reason. He proved that immensely during the pandemic and again this year when so many small businesses were closing and Metal Smithers struggled to keep up with the sky rocketing prices of silver which grew 150% this past year. Not to mention the price of gold. Unattainable for many, he invested in me. A man that invests in a women’s crazy dreams is the deepest form of love.
This provided me time to challenge new skills, make new meaningful friends and connections and hold close the people who have been dear to me. To have the mental clarity to give to them more than I take. Often when one is living in fear, they tend to take more, so I vowed each day to consciously keep in mind, that we are all on the same boat and emotional support rations must be distributed equally.
