First, a HUGE thank you to everyone who joined us for our August Crystals + Cocktails! 🍹💎 We had so much fun spending the evening with you and seeing all of your Goldstone creations come together.

Now... who’s ready for the next one? 👀

We have three more chances to create with us this year, starting with Monstera Earrings at Ruth’s Garden in September, followed by two more Crystals + Cocktails at Four Finger Distillery, where we’ll continue our Goldstone collection with earrings in October and necklaces in December. ✨

A little earring appreciation ✨

So, I always wondered why we had a Peony Festival in Indy and, unbeknownst to me, the peony is actually the Indiana state flower. Definitely a duh moment, but the more ya know lol. 😂

With that little discovery, I started making these cute Indiana peony acrylic dangles for my earrings. That eventually turned into these Indy heart earrings, which are actually a little nod to the logo of the beauty + lifestyle blog I ran with two of my really good friends, Terrian and Kristin (love yall 🫶🏽)

I really love these little earrings, but it’s always a little weird saying, “Yeah, I love Indiana and living here,” especially as a Black woman born and raised in Indiana. It’s a complicated relationship because Indiana doesn’t always love me back, but the family, friends and community I’ve built here have made this place irreplaceable.

I don’t know if I’ll always live in Indiana, but Indiana will always be home. 💛💙

Our next Crystals + Cocktails class is TOMORROW night and we’re ready for all the sparkle. ✨

We’ll be making our own bracelets using red, blue and green Goldstone while learning a little more about the history and properties behind these beautiful stones.
