I’m a young woman with autism. I learned to do beading during Project Search internship my last year of High School. The Project Search teacher, Mrs. Jill Rusk, received a Lawrence Township Education Foundation Creative Classroom Grant. The project was to make Meditation Beads for Community North Hospital. Out of all the Project Search interns, I was chosen to work on this project. During the inte

rnship, over 180 bracelets were given to patients at Community Hospital North and the Cancer Center and to all LT bus drivers and transportation staff following the tragic death of Amy Beverland Elementary principal, Mrs. At the end of the internship, Mrs. Rusk and I created my Etsy Page as a way for me to continue what I had learned. I have continued making bracelets at home with my mom and my respite staff and a lot of people have purchased them. I am very proud of my work and I thank you for supporting me. Jessica
