Customer: “I inherited this ring from my grandfather and want to wear it as my wedding ring, but it’s hollow. Can you help?”

So, our jewelers got to work! We made a mold of the original ring and used the gold from the original to recreate the same design in a solid ring, preserving its sentimental value for generations to come!! 🥂

✨ Opal is the birthstone of October! ✨

🌈 Every opal is unique, with its own one-of-a-kind play of color.

💎 Opal ranks 5.5–6.5 on the Mohs hardness scale, making it softer than many popular gemstones. Because of this, opals should be handled with a little extra care to help prevent scratches and chips.

💧 Opals naturally contain water, typically around 3–10%!

🌡️ Because opals contain water, sudden or extreme temperature changes can cause stress and, in rare cases, lead to cracking. Avoid exposing opals to rapid temperature shifts, intense heat, or prolonged dryness, and store them carefully when not wearing them.

🖤 From black opal and white opal to fiery orange fire opal, opals come in a wide range of colors and styles.

Seriously, can we get a round of applause for marquise diamonds as side stones?! 👏

They’re such an elevated, whimsical addition and the perfect way to complement any center stone. ✨
