Everyone talks about “balance” like it’s this magical place you eventually arrive at… but honestly? Most days it feels more like juggling. 🤹🏻♀️✨
Trying to support your family through a small business while also being present for your family can feel impossible sometimes. We choose this path because we want more freedom — more flexibility, more memories, more time for the people we love. But in the thick of it, it can feel like you’re clocked in 24/7. Like your brain never fully shuts off. Like you’re constantly trying to split yourself between business owner, wife, mom, friend, and everything else.
It’s such a strange mix of blessing and burden. Because this business has asked so much of me… but it’s also given me so much. Confidence. Purpose. Community. Financial support for my family. Something that fulfills me creatively and mentally.
And honestly, being able to step away for important moments with my family while knowing this business is still standing, still serving people, still running because of the systems and team I’ve built? That makes me emotional. 🥹
That’s the kind of freedom I think so many small business owners are actually chasing. Not “doing less,” but building something sustainable enough that life and work don’t have to constantly compete with each other. 🤍
