At 1:38pm PT I got a call from Dennis Martinez who congratulated me on what I thought was for my 38 years of sobriety (Feb 21st 1986). Nope, he was the first to inform me that I had been inducted into the SHoF. To say that I'm stoked is a huge understatement. I'm over the moon, and very, very grateful.
I love that the "Class of 2023" will be joining those of us in the Class of 2024 at the ceremony in May. I'm happy that others from the South Bay are being honored and that I'm getting so much love from the Logan Earth Ski Team. I owe so much Laura Thornhill introducing me to Brian Logan and the rest of that amazing family. I'm lucky that my mom, dad, sister and brother are all alive and well and get to see the "problem child" have his day. A big thank you to everyone who is supporting me on this wonderful day. Life's better on a board!
