At Parker J, one of our custom services is a Custom Charm Bar. Since we use 18k plated materials for this specific service, a little care goes a long way to keep your pieces looking their best. Here’s what you need to know:
Leave them out of the shower and bath. Soaps, steam and water exposure can break down plated materials over time.
Skip the pool and ocean. Chlorine and salt water are not your charms’ best friends.
Take them off before the gym. Sweat and friction can wear down plated pieces faster than you’d think.
Don’t sleep in them. Charms can snag on sheets and fabrics overnight.
Wear them everywhere else! Date night, girls’ night, errands, brunch, your charms were made for all of it. Avoid those few activities and you will get the most life and longevity out of every piece ✨
