My obsession with cicadas and hammered brass textures continues. I’m not sure what this will become ...just compiling lots of components at the moment that I will later piece together. I have a hard time working spontaneously and planning on the fly, but hoping this freedom to create will put me on a path to overcome my struggles with needing to plan ahead for every little step and detail to the point where I never get started. Welcome to the life of an over-thinker! 🤯

Coming in 2020 ...I’ve been spending all my time at the bench reminding myself how much I love metalsmithing. I’m hoping to transform this little old Etsy shop (it’s been 10 years!) into a showcase for my hand-fabricated jewelry designs. Looking forward to sharing this whole new adventure with all of you! I created this little pet portrait of my Boston Terrier, Satchel, while he was still a wild little pup. He’s since crossed the rainbow bridge, but he’s inspired a series of memorial urn lockets that securely hold a small amount of ashes. There are a variety of them available on my site and they make a beautiful, thoughtful gift for anyone experiencing the loss of a loved one.
