Konrad Marine is a Manufacturer of commercial and military grade stern drive propulsion systems for clients worldwide. Konrad Marine is seeking to fill a position for a full time assembler of the high performance stern drives.
Job Summary
Use components and parts to produce and repair equipment. Reads and interprets engineering drawings, positions parts, and examines connections for correct fit. Performs preventive maintenance & repairs as needed, reports any problems as soon as aware.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Use a variety of air and pneumatic tools to assembly components for stern drives, service parts, and assemblies.
Complete finishing operations on parts using a variety of hand and power tools
Set-up, adjust, and/or changeover equipment with appropriate tools common to the particular job.
Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools.
Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, engineering drawings, specifications, and parts lists. Gathers parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Cleans, disassembles, and inspects equipment to be repaired.
Determines actions and parts necessary for repair. Records results of inspection on Repair Form ###X.
Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
Assembles components.
Once fully trained the candidate must be able to train / teach small technical hands on classes held 2 - 3 times a year.
Verifies specifications by measuring completed component or assembly and performs testing as required.
Resolves assembly problems by consulting engineering. Notifies supervisor if additional resources are needed.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Documents actions by completing maintenance, production, and quality forms.
Contributes to team effort by performing other duties as required.
Complies with quality processes, procedures, and work instructions.

This is a full time position with benefits available after 30 days; 401k after 90 days; as well as PTO and holiday pay.
