I was going to go out and hide some more jewelry for Mother’s Day today but it looks like it may rain tonight so I’m going to wait until tomorrow so keep an eye out for that post!! 👀
This is one of my favorite things to do, my nieces also love picking the jewelry and hiding it with me.
Big shout out to them because it’s becoming a yearly tradition of ours to go out and hide jewelry for the community to find! But most importantly they also help make some of the jewelry and help me design it. They enjoy seeing the comments of people who have found stuff and to hear the kind things they say about it, and how beautiful it is and it makes their day.
They love helping with designing and making the bracelets, pens, and sometimes even the earrings. A lot of my earring and bracelet designs come from them, they mostly make all of the pens themselves. They hand pick almost every bead for every bracelet and pen. They love stringing the beads on the bracelets as well, a lot of the time when they help me, all I have to do is screw the top on a pen, or tie and glue the bracelet string.
Their willingness to learn about crafting is incredible, and when I start to get brain fogged and can’t think of any ideas, they always have ideas waiting for me and get excited to help me bring their idea to life. That is why I like to include them and am patient with them. The process may take a bit longer and their may be a mess, but the smile on their face is priceless.
They started the idea to hide jewelry while we were out hunting for little crochet animals last year, it inspired them to do something kind, and fun for the community, and they also have fun getting out and finding creative places to hide everything. So, when you find one of those little bags with jewelry in it, think of them because it was their idea to begin with. ☺️❤️
