Fun fact, Lotus Lakes was actually the very FIRST store to ever carry Jewelry by Samy!

Katie found me at the Chanhassen Farmers Market after one of my very first events and asked if I’d come into the store to talk about selling my jewelry there.

At the time, I didn’t even have cards to display my earrings on. 😂 Katie nonchalantly suggested I get some, so I ordered blank tan cards from Amazon. A little while later, she was like, wouldn’t it be cool if you put your business name on them? And I was like, yes, yes that would probably be a good idea so people actually know who made them. 😂

She’s given me so many other ideas over the years and has always been so kind about it. It’s crazy to think how much has changed in almost five years!

Katie has been such a big part of the development of Jewelry by Samy, and I’m so thankful she found me at that farmers market! 🤍

What a weekend that I’m finally getting around to posting about! 🤍

I had the opportunity to be featured on WCCO this weekend to talk about Jewelry by Samy and the St. Paul Art Crawl! I still can’t believe we get to do things like this and I’m SO grateful for these opportunities!

Sometimes I have to remind myself to stop and appreciate how far our business has come. It's been a crazy busy year, and honestly we've been struggling to keep up!

We’ve decided to take the rest of October off from shows to catch up on production, get ready for the holiday season, and hopefully get a little sleep 🤣

A huge thank you to WCCO and everyone who helped make this happen, and to all of you who continue to support Jewelry by Samy! It’s pretty crazy to think about how far we’ve come since I started selling jewelry in 2022. 🤍

In other news, if anyone knows someone with sweet mom or grandma energy looking for a 20–30 hour per week job for November and December, we’re hiring! We need someone to help keep us fed, tackle random studio tasks, and occasionally take our tablecloths to the laundromat 🤣 #1 priority is being good at making soup.

Woohoo, this is the week of our LAST Sip & Shop of the year!! 🎃✨

We changed up the time a little because when I originally planned this I apparently didn’t realize it would be getting dark this early 😂

Here’s our show schedule for the next couple months! Apparently we are trying to do the impossible 😅🎃

Mitch spends a lot of November hunting, so if you’re planning to come to a specific event just to see us, please reach out beforehand to make sure we’ll be there… just in case the business comes crashing and burning and we have to skip a couple 😂

December events TBD, but we’ll have a few holiday boutique pop-ups mixed in throughout December too. Stay tuned 🎄

We finally added some fall decor around the studio 🍁💀

I’ve been looking for a reason to buy the 12-foot skeleton from Home Depot for many, many years and apparently the studio was the obvious place to put him 😂 Meet Seymour Bones, our newest (and tallest) employee.

Come stop by for our Fall Sip & Shop on Thursday, October 8th from 4–9 PM! We’ll have snacks, drinks, new fall jewelry, and obviously Seymour.

Ahhhh it’s finally feeling like fall 🍂 We always kick off September with one of our favorite shows in Little Falls, so here are a few fun little booth upgrades lately ✨😍

Shoutout to Mitch for going to Home Depot at 10 PM the night before the market to buy tools and build the Spooky Season display 😂 It turned out pretty great, right?! 👻

Finally made it out to the State Fair yesterday to see our earring display in the Dairy Building & visit our bestie RUSTIC METALZ | Modern Metal Art + Custom Business Signs in the Coliseum! 🎡🎟️

Now I’m back at the studio hard at work bringing this year’s Fall-O-Ween collection to life 😍 Stay tuned for updates on when it goes live on the website!
