We had the honor of hosting 18 wonderful young ladies for the Miss Southwest Arkansas and Miss Ouachita River Scholarship Competitions. Together, we awarded over $5,000 in scholarships to help further their education. 💫

Miss Southwest Arkansas is a closed preliminary. To qualify, you must reside in or attend school in one of the following counties:
Calhoun, Clark, Cleveland, Columbia, Dallas, Grant, Hempstead, Hot Spring, Howard, Lafayette, Little River, Miller, Montgomery, Nevada, Ouachita, Pike, Polk, Sevier, or Union.

Miss Ouachita River is an open preliminary — any eligible contestant across Arkansas can compete!

Both Miss Southwest Arkansas' Teen and Miss Ouachita River's Teen are also open — no county restrictions!

🌟 Callie Scherrey – Miss Ouachita River 🌟

Callie lit up the Miss Arkansas stage this past week, and we are beyond proud of everything she accomplished as Miss Ouachita River! From her vibrant personality to her dynamic stage presence, Callie truly left her mark.

She wowed the audience with a captivating dance to “That’s Life,” full of charisma, precision, and charm—it was the perfect reflection of her bold and confident spirit. But Callie’s talents didn’t stop there. She was honored with not one, but two prestigious scholarships: the Healthy Lifestyle Platform Scholarship and the Dr. Darynne Dahlem Medical Achievement Scholarship. These awards are a testament to her intelligence, passion, and dedication to her platform and future goals.

Throughout her reign, Callie has exemplified what it means to be a titleholder, gracious, hardworking, and genuinely inspiring. We’ve loved every moment of watching her grow and lead with heart this year. The future is so bright for Callie, and we’re just grateful to have had a front-row seat to her incredible journey.

💃 Adalai Weeks – Miss Ouachita River’s Teen 💃

Adalai lit up the Miss Arkansas' Teen stage last week with her signature sparkle and vivacious spirit! Representing Miss Ouachita River’s Teen, she danced her way into the Top 15, performing an electrifying jazz dance to “River Deep, Mountain High” that had the crowd on toe-tappin’ and cheering her on!

From start to finish, Adalai brought warmth, grace, and high-energy enthusiasm to every moment of competition. Her presence was magnetic, and her confidence contagious. She was a true standout not only in performance but in the way she carried herself with kindness and strength.

It’s been an incredible experience watching Adalai grow this year, and we are so proud of all she has accomplished. She has represented her title with honor, and we know this is just one of many great achievements on her journey. 💖
