Lohikai 'O Moloka'i Shell Jewelry All of the Jewelry is made up of 100% Molokai pupu. As a family we travel around the Island and gather our own shells. Each piece is unique and different.

There are
many unique and special cultural things about moloka’I that make Moloka’I Hawaii’s best kept secret. The small communities and friendly
people make a comfortable and fulfilling living
for most of the islanders as we all support each other. Our ‘Ohana has loved to collect and gather shells from these shores on Moloka’I for 10 years, and in 2006 we decided to make it an official shell Jewelry Business. We then bring them home, sort each shell depending on type, size, color, and textures. The next step is to pierce each shell with a needle, then string them. This process can take weeks, months, even years to be able to create certain pieces. We mostly work with Moloka’i Kahelelani “Turbin”, Momi “Pearl”, and Laiki “Rice” shells. We run our business from home and rely solely on the support of our community and visitors
