Rest don’t quit.
The truth I haven’t made jewelry much in the past two years except teaching classes.
Loosing my studio was hard on the soul.
Lately I’ve had past customers reaching out for custom orders.
I learned a pair of cherished hoops went on a very famous world tour.
My partner and I got a cute back yard shed with a built in bench that I started setting up over the weekend. Slowly my excitement is coming back.
The best thing you can do for inspiration is step away for a bit.
Go try something new.

Teaching my first class of the year this week! How to create a pendant using wire to a school group in Portland. I love taking it back to basics and sharing the art of jewelry making. When I first started I had (still do) have a massive stone addiction. I loved sitting on a blanket in the sun turning them into wearable talisman. I now get to share that magic with others and it’s such an honor!

The earrings that started it all! When I first started making jewelry I was inspired by the feather trend of 2010. I fly fished and tied my own flies. That delicate work leaned itself well to jewelry and I loved that you could carry your beautiful creations with you. Fun to play with jewelry as a creative medium again as I prepare for upcoming markets. After 15 years of it being my creative medium and business I don’t always feel like making it. My creative energy ebbs and flows between mediums and I only create when I feel inspired to do so.

I have a few fun events coming up that are helping me get out of the winter hole and feel inspired by springs creative energy. I would love to see some smiling faces.
