PUMPKIN SALAD
We wanted to be different, so we decided to make pumpkin salad instead of potato salad. This too is one of the components in our Sozai or appetizer sides.
Similar to making potato salad, except instead of boiling, we lightly steam the pumpkin first to soften it, then hand mash it.
We add shimeji mushrooms in the process.
Then let it cool.
Next just like potato salad, we add the mayo, seasonings and what not. And add some ham to add a little something extra to the salad
We want you to be able to experience restaurant quality dishes as take out. Our goal is eventually opening our own restaurant, so this is our stepping stone to the next step.
Our happiness or joy is to make every one that’s tried our food whether it’s our desserts or bentos…. HAPPY 😊
