By now you all know I'm not very good at adding new creations here --- it's been quite a while, to say the least! Well, surprise, surprise!!! Here are three (THREE!!!) new pieces and, as you will probably notice, they're different from the pieces I have posted before. Whereas the first pieces I posted were all beaded creations, these new ones are wire-wrapped and quite different. And these three are just the beginning --- I've been BUSY!!! --- and there are quite a few more to come. I just have to get busy with my camera! And seeing as it's a new camera, I have to learn how to figure out how to use all the bells and whistles ... and there are LOTS of those! So these first pics might not be the best I've ever taken but I'll get better at it --- hopefully!

Some of you might wonder if these pieces are available for sale as I don't post prices with the descriptions but that's just me. I just feel that putting prices on my work is a bit tacky (it's a personal thing), but yes, they are available for purchase if something strikes your fancy. Just send me a message indicating your interest and I'll get right back to you with answers for any questions you might have, including prices. And thank you for your interest!!! So --- on to the first three pictures; hope you like them.

This first picture is a trial to see what comes up when I try to add a picture and is of a piece made with Silver-filled wire (which those of you with metal allergies SHOULD be able to wear safely, just like gold-filled, however, I'm not going to say you CAN wear them safely and be held to that; just that you SHOULD be able to wear them.) The small green beads at the bottom of the piece are Swarovski crystal beads and the large, top green stone is an authentic green Emerald stone although I don't have authentication to prove it --- you'll just have to take my word for it. Bought on Ebay so I assume the seller is honest in his/her description.

Well, it's been a while since I last posted something new. Been trying to get caught up on my backlog as well as keep up with crocheting for charity and painting for myself so have to admit that not a whole lot has gotten done! But I went rummaging in my "UFO" box (unfinished objects box) and found 2 projects near to completion so I finished 'em up and here they are!!!

The rose colored necklace features a Swarovski Rivoli stone and a beaded spiral rope.

The turquoise colored necklace has a Preciosa focal stone of Bermuda Blue and turquoise dyed Magnesite gemstone beads with cultured freshwater pearls and silver- plate accents.

A bit of a departure from pictures of jewelry that I've made, these are pictures of some of the paintings I do on terracotta flowerpots and saucers, and on clam, conch and oyster shells found on a private beach owned by a friend.

Well, Facebook has been being difficult lately about showing my pictures for some unknown (and probably unGodly) reason, so I don't know if the ones I've selected will show up when I post this. I doubt it, though, because I'm still getting "error" messages...totally FRUSTRATING!!! Oooops! There's one (out of 3!) FINALLY!!! Will be trying to post pictures of some shells and saucers, too, later and, hopefully, FB will cooperate!!!

Oh MY!!! How did that picture of my Skye DreamDancer cuddled up in my chair with her favorite blankie sneak in here?!!?

Here's one of the "Mystery Stones" that came in an assortment and I have no idea what gemstone it is but it's very striking. The stone is patterned in exploding-fireworks-type bursts and is quite attractive. I've paired it with Autumn Hickory stones in the necklace and dark green glass as well as the Teal in the fringe. And, by the way...the fringe actually does hang pretty much as pictured with little or no sagging or tangling (on me, anyway!). You often find fringe fanned out like this in photos when, in actuality, they do sag and tangle and look horrid (I think!) when worn. I really like the way this turned out, especially with the copper accent beads in the fringe. Necklace measures approximately 20", including the silver-plated toggle clasp and the pendant adds approximately another 3". Metals are silver-plate except for the earwires, which are Sterling.

This necklace features one of my favorite stones...a Natural Agate Titainium Druzzy! Unfortunately, you really need to see this one with your own eyes to catch the sparkle and glitter of the Druzzy. Paired with Swarovski crystal pearls and gold plated accent beads and toggle clasp, this piece will certainly gather lots of oooos and aaaaahs! The earwires are gold-filled so no problem with sensitive ears! Wear this on a dinner date dressed in that little black dress...or grocery shopping in jeans. This necklace certainly speaks out loud and clear wherever it goes!!!

Pretty much my first excursion into Dimensional Bead Embroidery and I love it...the making and the finished product!!! This particular necklace is special in my eyes...if you look closely at the extreme close-up, you'll see a reddish "shadow" on the round rivoli stone. I've never seen anything to compare with this little surprise!!! Nor can I even tell you where I got this little gem...but it certainly does make the piece! Okay...Kudos to Swarovski for the Montana Blue crystal which needs to be seen to be appreciated. Sterling silver, glass pearls, Montana Blue crystal beads and glass flowers and leaves complete this pretty pendant. The necklace of glass pearls and Swarovski Montana Blue crystal beads measures approximately 19 inches long, with the pendant adding another 3-1/2 inches...and it makes a statement without saying a word!!!!!

These pictures are backwards...I PLANNED to show the others BEFORE I showed the back but things got away from me (what else is new when it comes to me and this computer!).

Anyway...most folks seem to like Fuchsias in full bloom and hovering Hummingbirds and this necklace has them both AND Cultured Freshwater Pearls, too...AND Rose Quartz gemstones! Guess that says it all!

This necklace is really very pretty and speaks for itself when it's being worn up close and personal so to speak...reminds one of warm and sunny summer days filled with blossoms and little buzzing Hummingbirds (one posed in front of me for a few seconds the other day!!!).and is a piece to be worn anywhere you want to gather oooohs and ahhhhhs!

Looks like I need to post pictures of some of the more recent sparklies I've been creating over the winter.

This piece features a Hickory Jasper focal stone surrounded by gorgeous green Malachite beads, which also make up the major portion of the necklace itself. These stones all have beautiful pattern markings and/or matrix. The necklace measures approximately 23 inches, including the gold plated toggle clasp. The metal accent beads are also gold plated as are the metal beads in the matching earrings, however, the earwires are 14K gold-filled and should pose no problem to "sensitive" ears.

Been playing with the new camera and hopefully have a handle on how to use it so I'll be taking and posting more pics of my jewelry and a surprise or two soon so keep watching this channel!!!!
