👋🏻 Hey Friends! It’s me, Claudia! Thank you all so much for following along with me and New With Tags! There’s a lot of new faces here, so I thought I’d share a little bit about myself and NWT.
✨ I am a Jersey girl who relocated to North Carolina almost six (wow) years ago with my husband and three kids.
✨ New With Tags was built from my basement, and honestly something that I jumped into pretty impulsively without knowing much (lol anything) about. Nothing was promised or really expected at that point, I just knew that working for someone else was not something that I wanted.
✨ From liquidation boxes, to thrift finds, to pallets- I have basically tried it all, some experiences were amazing, while others left me wondering if I’d ever recover from such a terrible purchase. You truly live and learn.
✨ NWT now has a strong focus on trending designer brands and styles, plus our high-end boutique brands that we are constantly stocking.
✨ Confession: I wake up every day worried about how my business will continue running- between slow weeks, returns, never-ending bills, the worries never really end, but I would take it over working for someone else any day. I love my work and could not see myself doing anything else. It is stressful, but so so worth it.
✨ Fast forward a few years… I started seeing tons of well-known resellers starting to run live auctions on the app. I went into it thinking “I will never do this or even use the app.” Well…that was the biggest lie I have ever told myself. I’ve been running auctions now for about five years, and it is the engine that fuels my business. I’ve also met some incredibly amazing women through this app, and have built a wonderful customer base of ladies who tune in to see my every week.
✨ With all of that being said, my goal at the end of every day is to live with minimal stress, minimal anxiety, and have the power to take care of my family whenever needed. My goal is not to be rich and well-known, it’s to keep doing what I love and keep having the flexibility to pick up and go whenever I want to. That is what it has always been about.
