Today, we honored two remarkable individuals whose legacy will forever remain part of our Tarbell Management Group LLC and Bears Den family.
With the dedication of memorial plaques on our benches, we celebrate the lives and service of Art McGee and Courtney Seymour, two former associates who gave so much of themselves to this company, their teammates and the Akwesasne community they served every single day for over 2 decades.
Art McGee dedicated over 23 years of service to our family. Known for his loyalty, positivity, dependability and willingness to help others, Art represented the kind of person you could always count on. He treated everyone with kindness and respect and became family to so many of us along the way.
Courtney Seymour dedicated nearly 22 years to our family, growing from cashier to manager through hard work, leadership, and heart. Courtney took pride in everything she did and made everyone around her feel supported, welcomed, and valued. She led by example and left a lasting impact on both her team and customers.
While their journeys were different, Art and Courtney shared something truly special they gave their best every single day, not for recognition but simply because that’s who they were.
These benches are more than a memorial. They are a place to pause, reflect, and remember two people who helped shape the culture, spirit, and heart of our organization.
For two people who spent so much of their lives taking care of others, we hope this serves as a place where their memory can rest peacefully while continuing to inspire all of us.
