Happy almost April! Our new birthstone of the month is possibly the most well-known. You know what we're talking about: DIAMONDS! 💎 The natural diamond is more than a billion years old and yours could be the oldest thing you touch in your lifetime. It is also the hardest naturally-occurring material on Earth with the highest ranking on Moh's scale—10. Ancient Romans and Greeks believed that diamonds were tears cried by the gods or splinters from falling stars, and Romans believed that Cupid’s arrows were tipped with diamonds (perhaps the earliest association between diamonds and romantic love). Ancient Hindu cultures used diamonds in the eyes of devotional statues and believed that a diamond could protect its wearer from danger. Many ancient cultures believed that diamonds gave the wearer strength and courage during battle, and some kings wore diamonds on their armor as they rode into battle.

Diamond is the gemstone for those who are born under Virgo and Libra, as it bestows good luck and prosperity. ♍️♎️

March's Birthstone: Aquamarine 🩵
Aquamarine is a pale blue to light green member of the beryl family. It's known most for its healing properties and its strong ties to water; aquamarine is an ancient talisman that was used by the Romans to purify water and to guarantee safety when traveling by sea. Additionally, Aquamarine was believed to be the treasure of mermaids. The gemstone can be found in many places all over the world, from the United States to Brazil, Colombia to Madagascar, and Tanzania to Kenya.
