A sweet couple who have been married 62 years came into my shop today because her engagement ring was lost last Saturday.
They went to two places: Whits Frozen Custard and Antonia’s.
The 14k white gold ring has a center diamond with a tiny diamond on either side.
If you might have found this ring or know the person who did, please drop it off at the Hillsborough Police station or my shop (no questions asked!) so that we can get this 62 year old token of their love back to them!
Many people may think it’s amazing when they find a diamond ring in the wild and decide to keep it, but that’s not the right thing to do. I hope this ring gets back to this sweet couple soon!

Meet our adoptable pet of the week: Ginger 🐾

Ginger arrived at the shelter fearful with an embedded collar. Thanks to good medical care and her loving foster home, she has made great progress learning to socialize with people and understand that the world is not such a scary place. She especially loves the company of other dog-friendly dogs. This beautiful girl is looking for a good home where people will be patient and kind as she learns to shine.

You know what’s sad? We’re seeing local businesses having to close their doors and people act sad about it. But then they’re thrilled when a big expensive international store opens in a big mall.

I’m not mad because they’re a jewelry store—I could not and would not want to compete. It’s sad because folks don’t get that this shop does not support local. Maybe they’ll support a huge gala where tickets are $175 per a person that most of us cannot afford. But they won’t support local where it counts.
