Breaking the Chain Designs Custom Metal Stamping
Handmade Customized Jewelry Hi, my name is Bobbi Saathoff. I am a wife and a mother of two amazing kids.

Both of my kids compete in Flat Track Racing and that is what has brought myself to this hobby. I enjoy creating and designing cool racing items along with all kinds of other metal stamping designs. These designs help my children travel and see the country one race track at a time. I hope we can work together to create the perfect piece for yourself or that special person. Each item is individuall

y hand stamped so no two are exactly alike. Please feel free to PM me with your thoughts. I keep my prices very affordable so lets get creating together!!

What can be done when you miss your Grammy terribly and want to feel closer to her?…… you have Bobbi design a necklace & ring out of her beautiful vintage silverware.

I had the utmost pleasure working with these priceless pieces to create a timeless, sentimental ring & necklace.

Malorie Saathoff I hope every time you wear them you have nothing but the bestest memories 🩶

Remember the Grosvenor pattern?
This is a fairy bell necklace hand cut from a knife handle and fork tine.

Back then knife handles were usually filled with sand, cement, or a dental plaster. Sometimes you get lucky with a specific pattern though.

Much thanks to my friend Kim for sharing your beautiful vintage silverware with me so I could create these special pieces for you 🩶

Video in comments for your listening pleasure.

When I'm asked to make jewelry from vintage silverware, I try to do my homework on the pattern out of respect to the original creator. I mean, I am cutting it up into pieces.

This particular piece is called the 'Grosvenor' pattern; it was produced around 1921 and continued through the 1940s. It was designed by Grosvenor N. Allen and was highly sought after. It was considered 'upscale and sophisticated' for the 1920s.

In my photos, I wanted to show the full cycle of these pieces. To you, it's just an old spoon, but to me, it’s many more years of upscale and sophistication 🩶

I recently had the pleasure of crafting two beautiful pieces from my bench.
Amanda contacted me with a request for matching rings for her and her daughter. I was happy to create them for her and very pleased with the outcome.
Happy Retirement Amanda Leidner
