Here’s a little life update since i’ve been away for a while: Last week I had a interview for my day job and i’m hearing back by the end of this week so it’s been literally ALL I could think about 😅😅 Send good vibes my way friends !!! I have been making products to help lessen the anxiety so at least that works in our favor! 😂🫶🏻

Happy Monday friends!! I had such a fun and busy weekend so today is a mini-photo dump — which I never do!! My birthday was last wednesday & my beautiful bestie got me this beautiful bag so of course when I went to the columbus book fair yesterday I used this as my purse/tote!! I AM OBSESSED! 🤭 Saturday night I went out with my girlies to celebrate that i’m 25 now … wow that’s insane!! I had a BLAST! it was so much fun!! Now onto BOOKISH THINGS 🤭 A little bit ago there was a pop up bookstore at my local coffee shop and I got this beautiful but very large book (that cat got my attention of course sooo) if you’re in the hilliard area be sure to check out !

The book said was so much fun! this time I went on a sunday so it wasn’t as busy but I still had a LOT of fun! it was extremely hot so I had almost a pots episode but water came to the rescue in the form of a cold water bottle 😂 I have never chugged water so fast in my life before! While I was there I got a signed copy of a book (more details later this week!!) this BEAUTIFUL S**T ST sign from along with a key chain and a super cute sticker for my bestie because who doesn’t think about your book besties while at a BOOK FAIR? Love ya!

It’s my 1 year Small Business Anniversary!!! While I technically opened my shop on July 3rd, everything wasn’t fully up and running until after my birthday (which is wednesday!!!) In honor of my 1 year everything in my shop will be 15% off just add the code 1YEAR at checkout! Happy wednesday friends I had such an amazing booksta belated summer solstice last night I can’t wait to share all the pics! it was SO much fun!! Thank you for co-hosting with me!!! it’s always so much fun!

I finally finished Heir of Fire so this will be my next read 🙃 As it gets closer to summer I fear i’m not going to read all of SJM by the end of 2024 … which was really my main reading goal I didn’t have a reading “number” to hit and thank goodness because i’ve only read 12 I think 😂 but two of them were 750+ Sarah J Mass books so I almost want those to count as 2 books each 😂

happy monday friends! I took a bit of a much needed Instagram break but i’m back this week!! While I was gone i finished two books! Both of which I have been reading at a snails pace😂 so today I have a mini review of Purity in Death by / 💕 this booth is number 15 in her In Death series!

Overall, nothing Nora writes will ever not be my favorite when it comes to Eve and Roarke! They are such an amazing pair together and they make my romantic heart soar😁 I enjoyed this book for eve and roarke mostly and I enjoyed jamie coming into the picture to help as well. The murder mystery itself wasn’t my favorite compared to past books that being said it was SO different and very intricate I think that it took me a while to fully understand it but once I did I read the second half of the book in one sitting 😂

I was BAFFLED by the McNab plot twist I TOTALLY DID NOT SEE THAT COMING! I absolutely love how ying and yang roarke and eve are and how they know exactly how to help the other— since eve isn’t good with emotions when it comes to mixing work and social relationships (even though they are her family) Roarke absolutely knows just what to do and/or say to nudge her into the direction that she needs to feel better💕 I love them so much!! So much so I had a custom candle made with Roarke’s name of course!! (candle by !) Use my code MADI10 for 10% off!!💜
